This is a fantastic achievement, and it helps support your work on understanding how hair cells in the avian vestibular system are replaced throughout the life of these animals. This ultimately helps us figure out why they are doing this and how we could utilize the information to stimulate new hair cell production in the mammalian inner ear, which lacks this feature.
