Congratulations Lyn on publishing your Honor’s thesis

Wow! This IS an achievement because publishing an Honor’s thesis is not something that routinely happens. What a Cool Paper on reversing evolutionary tooth loss in cypriniform fish, recently published in PNAS. This is so cool because it shows that the genetic program required for forming a structure that is lost in evolution (here: teeth) can be rekindled and lead to the re-emergence of the once-lost structure.
